"Passion Project" (Novel)
A new 'Dark Fantasy' about hunters of supernatural creatures, and a 16 year old boy who's world is turned upside down with the making of a not so simple, single choice.

I looked at the water differently than I’d seen it my entire life...

Rapids were fifty feet below the bridge where I was looking over its edge, thrashing against the rugged
rocks of the cliffsides that were lining it for miles, flowing harder than it had in years after a week straight
of late-summer storms.
Today was no exception. The sobbing sky pitter-pattered into puddles on the decrepit cement of the
bridge’s road as I stood alone, drenched and freezing from my night away from home.

Today is the day that I die... I thought.
Book One of the 'Guardians' Series

In a time and place where creatures of darkness run all but rampant, childhood friends... a boy who lived as a servant, and a prince, whom he served... must come to terms with their lives' harsh realities as they are thrust separately without warning into a world of murder, vampires, and demons.
Following their individual stories, they will meet mysterious characters, fall into unfortunate circumstance, and struggle to overcome their overwhelming adversaries as they grapple with the darker tides lying beyond the veil of the mundane. This is a story of fantasy, horror, love, and death... dipped in veins of combat, subterfuge, and the supernatural.

As long as I can remember, I've loved to create stories.
Collegiately in game development, I've written for design, UI, character dialogue, and narrative. However, writing is a passion of mine that extends far beyond the reaches of my professional work.
So much so, that it's actually one of the core elements that paved the way to my decision to pursue the path of creativity in my career.

Ironically, I despised reading and writing when I was younger. Though as birthdays passed, I found that my perspective began to change. Today, I find writing in its many forms to be relaxing and rewarding.
I like to tell stories through the interactions of a controller and a screen, yes. But through the medium of verbiage on a piece of parchment, there's a magic within the personal visualizations that take place within the mind of a reader, and I find that incredibly alluring as a storyteller.
So when I have time to myself... I like to write, be it personally, or professionally.
